We’re working with a major European consulting group delivering cutting-edge digital solutions to some of the biggest organisations across EMEA. With over 8,000 consultants and decades of transformation experience behind them, they’re rapidly scaling their UK footprint and are now looking for experienced DevOps Consultants to help shape and lead engagements with high-profile clients across sectors.

The Role
As a DevOps Consultant, you’ll work directly with client teams to shape and implement scalable, modern delivery pipelines and infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in designing architecture, advising on tooling, and driving the DevOps roadmap for enterprise-scale transformation initiatives.

This role isn’t just about technology — it’s about translating technical insight into real business value. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to your clients, helping define strategy and roll out solutions that improve agility, resilience, and delivery speed.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape and lead DevOps strategies tailored to complex enterprise environments
• Design and implement containerised infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
• Provide architectural oversight across cloud infrastructure and tooling
• Deliver high-level designs using industry standard methodologies (e.g. UML, sequence diagrams)
• Collaborate with nearshore/offshore teams and 3rd party suppliers
• Support client engagements through workshops, advisory sessions, and technical leadership
• Contribute to internal growth initiatives and capability development

What You’ll Bring
You don’t need every skill below, but experience in most of the following will make you a strong match:

Core Technical Skills:

• Solid scripting experience with Java or Python
• Hands-on with containerisation tools: Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, GKE, AKS, OpenShift
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools: Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tooling such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins X, TeamCity, or Artifactory
• Exposure to monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, ELK, etc.
• Comfortable with networking concepts: Bastion Hosts, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxies, TLS, etc.

Process & Collaboration:

• Experience with Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) and business process modelling
• Strong understanding of branching strategies and source control systems
• Familiarity with collaboration and issue tracking tools: JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Teams
• Test automation and service virtualisation
